Arepa de chocolo
Posted by: HoboSylvain | 2015-01-16 17:20:02 | Bogota, Bogota D.C., Colombia
Keywords: arepa
One of the most delicious street food of Colombia: Arepa de chocolo (or choclo for Southern Colombia). It's basically a thick corn pancake served with two triangles of cheese (usually cuajada, which is like mozarella, although taste a bit differently). In some places it can be also served with ham in addition to the cheese. In the South of Colombia, I encountered a much thinner variety.
