Hojaldra
Posted by: HoboSylvain | 2015-01-18 17:45:00 | Mocoa, Putumayo, Colombia
Keywords: street food
Hojaldras are basically like a pancake batter dripped in the deep fryer. That yields something close to a large thin donut, and it's served as is, without any topping. They have something very similar in Belize called 'Fried Jack' and it's also similar to what we have in Canada with the beaver tails (but with sweet toppings).
