Huevitos
Posted by: HoboSylvain | 2015-02-03 19:41:42 | Otavalo, Imbabura, Ecuador
Keywords: eggs, street food
One unusual street food in Ecuador are quail eggs, usually just called "huevitos" (small eggs). There are carts in the cities offering you 5 little hard boiled eggs for 50 cents. They come in a small bag with salt, spices and a toothpick to eat them. A cheap, yummy and healthy snack.
