Morocho
Posted by: HoboSylvain | 2015-02-08 17:53:41 | Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador
Keywords: rice, sweet
Morocho is a traditional 'drink' in Ecuador. I'm not sure how to qualify it however. Basically, it's a very liquid form of rice pudding with morocho corn, milk, cinnamon, sugar and raisins. People use it as a drink with their meal... then at the end you have the rice left for dessert. It's very yummy. A regular glass in the street will cost about US$0.50. On this photo, I have a large one. :-)
